Q: Will you climb on the roof during the inspection?
A: : That will depend on what the weather and ground conditions are at the time of the inspection and how steep the roof is too. We are required to make a safety assessment prior to mounting the roof by the Ministry of Labour. Our top priority is always safety, and you can often determine the condition of the roofing equally as well from the ground. We often use binoculars and will even drive to the next block over, so we can see properly. If we can’t see the roof at all when the inspection is scheduled (e.g. completely snow-covered); we can arrange to look at the roof at a later date when it is dry and safe.
